Oh, Hi there.
My name is Jewel, I am a 22-year-old mama. I was always awful in high school and college when the teacher would ask us to do an "about me" page. I guess when it comes down to it, I don't know how to describe myself or what I am into.
If you follow me on social media, you already know I LOVE to take photographs. Photography has been a passion of mine since I was roughly ten years old. I also like to write, especially about how I feel. I am not so great at expressing them out loud, but give me a pen and paper and you will have all the answers you need. I guess we can blame my star sign - Aquarius - for that one. ​
This blog will be centered around motherhood, self growth, lifestyle, and pregnancy. When I started blogging my Freshman year of college in 2016, I used to dream of having a successful blog but I always lost track of ideas, and never found my niche. ​ I guess becoming a mom really helped me get my creative juices back. ​
Am I supposed to say bye on an about me page? I feel like we kind of had a conversation here for me not to say bye? ​
One day I will get better at these. That day isn't today.

Why Angels & Asters?

I chose to make this blog based around my experience with motherhood. I decided I wanted to make the name something also versatile for my future shop I want to open up. I looked up so many different options for creating a name. I wanted it to be personalized and unique. I chose the word angels because I truly believe that there are people brought into our lives that are placed as guardian angels like my daughter Everly for myself. I chose Asters because her birth month flower are Asters.
